Starting this month, the Patan Tourism Development Organization has introduced guided night-time heritage walks. With beautifully lit temples and engaging storytellers, the walks offer tourists a fresh and magical perspective on Patan’s rich cultural legacy.

In a move to promote local traditions, the organization is hosting a week-long celebration of Newar art, food, and music. Locals and tourists can expect food festivals, mask dance performances, and traditional handicraft workshops.

The new "Green Patan" initiative will promote eco-friendly travel by encouraging walking tours, using electric rickshaws, and minimizing plastic use at tourist spots. The program also includes the planting of 500 saplings around historical sites.
